I am the big guy in the middle!

I have always taken pride in my playing ability, and always strive to maintain a high standard.  There is a close link between maintaining a high level in my teaching, as well as my own play.

It increases a pupils confidence in what the Professional is saying if you know your Professional has invested time in himself, and has proved he can really play.

I started winning Tournaments in the 70´s, when i was the youngest player at 18 years of age to win the Yorkshire Professional Championship. At that time i was an Assistant Professional at Ganton Golf Club.http://www.gantongolfclub.com

I have played alongside the best on the European Tour.

Now, 3 decades later, i am still competitive. I won the Austrian National Championship with -14 in Bad ischl. This was 25 years after winning my first Professional Title in Austria in 1984.
